Habitat:
The Bald Eagle lives in much of the United States, Canada, and the northern most part of Mexico. They prefer to live near water of a lake, or near a coast line. Sometimes, you can even find them along rivers in trees near the water. They use any sticks and twigs they can find to build large nests as their for of a home. These nests are normally high in the trees. Since the Bald Eagle likes to perch on trees, they prefer virgin forest hardwood, or coniferous trees. They also prefer to have a tree with good visibility for spotting prey. Bald Eagles try to avoid human disturbance, so they find trees in an area with little human activity. Most times you will see a Bald Eagle, it will be in an area with little human activity. If you look close up at the tops of trees, you might be able to find there large, twig nests.
